New Packaging for MaxLight
Have you noticed that some sizes of MaxLight XL2 mounts come with shrink wrap bags? We are starting to include these bags with every 10 pack of mounts you purchase at no charge (if we break the 10 pack, the bags are not included). All mounts should have these between now and 10/1/07 . Our hope is that you will utilize these bags and offer a better presentation when your customer receives a MaxLight Stamp. Our further hope is that you will include a “mini” ad with every MaxLight you sell. The “mini” ads can cross reference another product your customer may not be aware you offer. We provide the mini ads FREE of charge. You can click on Marketing Materials on our home page to view all the mini ads that are available. We hope you like this product enhancement and consider it more “value added” by MMC. The heat gun needed to shrink the bags can be purchased at a local craft and hobby store.

MaxLight™ Pocket (MP's) U.S. Patent no.'s 6,968,781 and 7,073,437
Our new MaxLight™ Pockets utilize a retractable cover. It does not separate from the mount thus can't be lost. Simply slide the pocket clip and the stamp opens and the die plate is ready for printing. The die plate is made to accept our patented flash die that uses our ZT concept and patented blue sealer that allows for adhesive tape to be used. There simply is not an easier and cost effective stamp to make... including self-inkers. Note the special price for our exclusive MaxLight™ Manufacturing Partners. That is our way of rewarding our customers who flash MaxLight™ exclusively. |
| MaxLight™, Q.D. & N.P. Ink
Our MaxLight ink is oil based. It can be used in production of MaxLight pre-inked stamps or other brands that utilize Flash or Salt Leach Rubber. We now offer 4 fluorescent colors in our standard formula and 8 colors in our “Forever” formula. “Forever” ink is fade resistant and creates sharper impression quality than our standard ink. Forever Ink can be used with XL2 or XL3 “Z” style. We do not use it with our pre-inked cartridges since the migration time increases significantly. With “Z” style, you pour the ink on the back of the foam while the stamp is partially assembled. This allows us to use a more viscous ink that dries quicker and creates sharper images. This new “Forever” formula that is also fade resistant enables you to produce an exceptional product. The two inks available for non porous surfaces are: 1) Quick-Dry (Q.D.) Ink: Dries in 5-10 seconds on most non-porous surfaces. 2) Non-Porous (N.P.) Ink: This ink dries in 45-60 seconds on most non-porous surfaces and has a much longer shelf life before re-inking is necessary. N.P. Ink is much more consumer friendly and less likely to be problematic. Q.D. Ink requires special care to ensure performance is maximized. Contact your sales representative more information. |

U.S. Patent Issued for Stackable Stamp
Millennium Marking Co. has been issued U.S. Patent No. 7,077,063 for its stackable stamp. The current NSP flash hand stamp has a feature of stacking the stamps together. An attachment is used as a dust cover and as a way to connect to another stamp. As many as six stamps or more can be connected. "This concept allows many stamps to be stored very efficiently without a rack or tray. The manufacturing process uses our patented ZT-style foam, which allows the rubber stamp manufacturer to streamline manufacturing and produce high quality stamps at a low price," states Craig Petersen, president of MMC.

Mini-Ad Opportunity
Stamp manufacturers can now market their products the Millennium Marking Co. way by including with each order sent a personalized four-color ad for a different product you sell. For instance, if the customer's order is for a traditional self-inker, it is the right time of year to put a PSI Dater ad in the order. This enables the rubber stamp manufacturer to sell more stamps without added cost or time. |
MMC is Awarded U.S. Patent No. 7,073,437
Millennium Marking Co. has attained a patent for its ZT-style flash foam. The concept allows the stamp manufacturer to add the ink after flashing. The outer edge of the cartridge is adhered to the foam on one side. A blue sealer is used on the other side. The blue sealer allows for the stamp die to be held in place with stickyback, thus allowing a flash stamp to be assembled like a traditional self-inker. This concept is now available for the Extra Slim Pocket stamps, the new retractable Pocket Stamps, Pen Stamps and NSP Hand Stamps. "The concept allows us to make a stamp more compact, reduce the price and speed assembly. All of such features will continue to grow the number of stamps made by the flash process," states Craig Petersen, president of MMC. |
Web Quoting and Ordering
Millennium Marking Co. has added a feature that allows customers to design their own special assembled self-inking or manual numberers or daters online. This feature also allows customers to receive a quote instantly as they design their own stamp.
